BYS Botanica · nursery software

Every plant you grow,
on the record.

Botanica is the day-to-day system of record for a tissue-culture lab and the nursery it feeds. It follows a batch from explant through multiplication and rooting, then follows the plants through acclimatisation, potting up and growing on — recording every event on one timeline.

Every line is an event nobody can quietly edit away

A lab and a nursery are two different problems.

  1. 01

    The lab

Batches from explant through multiplication and rooting. Subcultures, contamination, quarantine, and a genealogy that says which mother every jar came from.

  2. 02

    The greenhouse

Lots through acclimatisation, potting up, splitting, merging and singling out. Where each one stands, in which house, on which bench.

  3. 03

    One record

Both halves write to the same timeline. Nothing is edited away quietly: a correction is an event too, with a name against it.

Against what you sold

Can you actually cover that order?

Botanica answers it per order, from the lots that would fill it — covered, short by a number, or ready too late to matter. A total you still have to interpret is not an answer.

A verdict per order, not a number you still have to interpret

What it keeps

Written down, not remembered.

Everything a nursery argues about at the end of a season — what died, where it went, how long it really took, who changed what — is a question Botanica already holds the answer to.

And when you want to sell it

Connect it to BYS Flora, and your stock posts itself.

Growers who supply BYS Flora connect Botanica once. The lots you choose to offer reach us without anybody re-typing them: ready now, or later with when they are expected. We confirm each lot, sometimes for fewer plants than you offer, or say why we are not taking it, and My Stock in the portal shows you which. Using Botanica is not a condition of supplying us — typing your stock in works exactly the same — it just saves you doing it twice.

Built in a nursery,
not in a meeting.

Botanica exists because we needed it ourselves, and it changes when the people using it say it is wrong. If you run a lab or a nursery and you are keeping this in spreadsheets, tell us what your week looks like and we will show you what it would look like here.
